Niko Rittenau

In this episode, get to know Niko Rittenau, an author and nutritionist based in Berlin with a focus on herbal nutrition. We talk about the nutrients of concern when you take on a plant based diet. We discuss how we can tackle these small problems and become the healthiest versions of ourselves. Looking at selenium and B12 as key problems we look in depth in to food groups that will help us tackle the nutrient deficiency we could face if we follow a plant based diet. We also talk about some of the myths around soy products and discuss how it does affect you.

Beyond that, we chat about the potential causes on some ‘failing’ on a plant based diet and discuss whether we are really carnivores, omnivores or something else entirely!
